Accepting failure in the positive sense becomes effective when you believe that the right to fail is as important as the right to succeed. Ladies and Gentle i remember when i was at University in Makerere University Uganda, when i contested for Member of parliament (GRC) . This was when i was in my First year, being from a rural place (KANUNGU DISTRICT ) and with a few majority students at campus and with few serious strategic planning and massive campaigning made me lost this competitive elections two times until i came back for the third time and won nine other candidates. I remember two of my close friends, Emmanuel a.k.a cool and Jerome alias Jackchan , the Former was my close Friend having gone with him to the same Primary, Secondary, High School and University schools up to university, he contributed to my rise in leadership ladders right away from the position of Room Monitor while at Makobore High School, School Council Representative , Head prefect Premier High School, and here we are at Makerere University. When it came to Makerere Univesity , things changed out trend of winning changed, to me it was a huge surprise because all people seemed i was their favorite, however results could show different things. My royal strategic adviser Emmanuel called me for a private meeting; i saw in his eyes some disappointment and fear . He first sat and gathered the courage to honestly tell me that he was tired of loosing Elections despite his efforts . He only advised me to do one thing " to give up the election" and concentrate on other responsibilities that i had got just because my cultural leaders saw a lot of potential in me . In fact i took up two positions as a result of demonstrating my capability to serve people.i was elected as Speaker for BASAMU, Vice chairperson KIMUSA . "Always shoot for the moon if you miss, you will land among the stars" My close associate Jerome aka Jackchan who voted for me during the first election and joined my active Campaigning Team for the second Election as campaigning manager . After loosing the second election he gave up and contested with me for the same position now for the third time. My Campaigning manager now my opponent proposed that we briefly meet for a strategy meeting and here he told why cant you give up brother and join my Camp since we have lost two times. As if this is not enough he told me to join his camp and support him . Every time some one told me to give up " i got more courage and desire to pursue this election until i won this seat" in fact i got more motivated to stay in the fight than ever. Here time for open campaigns reach ,hahahah every one in my class was surprised to see lawrence still in the campaign, in fact people could not understand what am made of " here i made only statement that " winners don't Quit! and quitters never win" ladies and Gentle man i need your mandate to marshal your views in the Parliament and that's how i won Other nine contestants. I learn't many lessons from this " In life no one knows what exactly you want and no one knows your potential it's only you and your the master piece of your life, conclusively you can always get what you want in life so long as you are ready to pay the price to get it" when God Gives you a vision and confirms it, nothing can stop it. if he tells you to build, start, invest,or manufacture something, then it will bother you deep inside, you will become depressed until you do it . we have to take full responsibility of our lives & actions in our Countries, Continents and the world In General as well as respecting and tolerating other people's views. one love

THE KEY TO FULFILLING LIFE'S POTENTIAL

Many people are working hard, sweating hard but they are making no real progress in life. They are not going any where. only 48% of workers aged 35-44 are satisfied with their jobs, down from nearly 61% in 1995. older workers, aged 55-66, also express alow level of satisfaction. only 48% say they are satisfied. AIESECERS visited the pearl of Africa during the festive season 2008!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lawrence B a ugandan by citizen, Jim Kleiber from the United states and Benjamin from New zealand all currently working in Tanzania took a two weeks holiday to discover more about East africa and most especially the Pearl of Africa. They visited Queeen elizabeth National Park, Lake Bunyonyi the second deepest lake from Tanganyika in africa located between Hills of KIGEZI, The source of the Nile, Bujagali Falls, Entebbe international airport, Top intertainment spots in the country, Local churches in the country side (Kanungu District), The Kibwetere community Masker, the Place where over thousands of people were burnt to ashes in Kanungu District. They also met with Hon Dr Ruhakana Rugunda , one of the most outstanding and long serving ministers in uganda. they met with minister at Lake Bunyonyi and they had a little chat. more coming your way

ON THE ROAD TO UGANDA

After seven months at University of Dar es salaam, Faculty of commerce and management Alumni Association Lawrence has developed strong management skill through on-the job training and acquiring more competences in database managemnt,Online marketing ,international marketing,website designing, Public relations,Project Managemnt,Talent Management, Brand Marketing. He organised an outstanding Express success forum that brought Diplomats , Ministers,World Bank Representatives,IMF and senoiur Managers in Tanzania. am now looking at the very succeessful FCM Alumni Annual Networking Day due on 31st Jan 2009 at Kunduchi Beach Hotel. will be going for x-mass holiday in uganda and will have x-mass celebrations at my country home in Kanungu District - Kambuga Parish. After these months, i have been got friends from all over the world , for this x-mass season in my efforts of letting the whole world to know the secret about the pearl of Africa. am taking my two very close friends Jim from United states and Ben from New zealand , we are starting our Journey tomorrow saturday 20th Dec 2008, we are starting from Dar-Arusha-Namanga- Nairobi,Nakuru,Kisumu, Malaba and there to the switzerland of africa. we plan to visit Queen elizabeth National Park just in my village, Kanungu District, also Bwindi Impenetrable national Park in my District still and there after to the foot hills of mount Rwenzori.
